* As the Head of Interactive Technology for the BBC and its Partners, I set consumer tariffs, data controls and technology for engaging with audiences. Services are promoted via TV, Radio, online, red button, apps and outdoor events. The BBC promotes a range of micro payment solutions for voting, competitions, awards, ticketing, fundraising, gaming and user generated content. We work with operators, service providers, Ofcom, trade associations and digital marketing agencies to provide solutions to meet our varied demographics. From free to consumer to high premium rate to credit card and contact less solutions, we are responsible for millions of transactions year round. We work with partners on research& development technology trials and with international partners for BBC World Service and BBC Worldwide.

  Dr Windsor Holden

Dr Windsor Holden is the Head of Forecasting & Consultancy at Juniper Research. An analyst with Juniper Research since 2007, Windsor has written more than 60 strategic reports on digital services and technologies and specialises in the field of digital commerce and money. He has also led numerous bespoke projects for Juniper Research including forecasting, due diligence and White Paper assignments.

Windsor is a regular speaker at international events, including CARTES Secure Connexions (2014), NFC World Congress (2013) and Mobile World Congress (2008 and 2011). Windsor has more than 15 years’ industry experience, having previously worked for Kagan World Media, Espicom Business Intelligence and Analysys Mason Group. He is also a former Research Fellow of the Institute of Communications Studies, University of Leeds.

  Sharan Rattan

As part of her role as Head of Payment Services at Three, Sharan leads the team and strategy for mobile payments to grow revenues for all operator billing platforms. She is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and strengthening working relationships with key partners as well as increasing awareness and usage amongst Three’s own customer base.

Sharan has over six years’ experience in the mobile industry. Prior to joining Three, Sharan was the In-Life Manager for Mobile Payments at EE where she spent two years managing the on-bill payments P&L, growing revenues as well as developing ‘Payforit’, an online payment service designed by all UK MNO’s.

  Mark Challinor, CEO, Media Futures Ltd

Mark is CEO of Media Futures Ltd, a commercial consultancy specialising in engagement strategy (particularly the digital:mobile arena).

He is former Director of Mobile Platforms for one of the world's most iconic news brands, The Daily Telegraph in London, UK. There, he was responsible for all things mobile and tablet, both developing and commercialising.

Now he advises companies (media, bands, brands and entertainment companies) across the globe, on digital:mobile strategies and in 2014 has spoken at or run digital media conferences in the USA, Guatemala and Germany with India, Dubai and the Dominican Republic.

A current major project is helping the Academy Awards in Hollywood provide a tablet app/voting system for the Oscars.

Mark is also Vice President for the International News Media Association (www.INMA.org) a commercial trade association for news media professionals around the world, which highlights media trends, ideas and case studies around the industry. In this respect, he is the past holder of the industry's major honour, that of it’s "Silver Shovel" Award. This is an annual award given to the individual in news media who has given outstanding contribution to the industry.

Mark sits on the UK's Advertising Standards Authority’s Code of Advertising Practice (CAP) panel. In that capacity, he has responsibilities for media advertising fitting with the body’s ethos of being legal, honest, decent and truthful.

Tim has been writing about mobile since 2000 when he was an analyst at Screen Digest. In 2005 he launched Mobile Entertainment, the world's first B2B magazine for the emerging mobile content community. In 2012, Tim turned his attention to mobile payments and launched his own blog, Mobile Money Revolution. He's now unhealthily obsessed with the sector. When he’s not writing about m-payments, Tim is being the executive editor of Hot Topics – a magazine and website for 'tech leaders'. Genuinely, he is a brilliant dancer.

Surash has an MBA from London Business School and a BEng(Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Brunel University.

  Chris Newell

Chris is the CEO of ImpulsePay and has over 9 years of experience in the mobile space. In September 2009 he launched ImpulsePay based on the Payforit framework. The company was one of the earliest innovators in the Payforit sector and quickly became the fastest growing Payforit provider. ImpulsePay now works closely with AIME helping to pioneer enhancements within  the Payforit experience.

Prior to ImpulsePay, Chris founded Interlinked Media in 2002. Initially working with bars and nightclubs in Newcastle in the early days of texting, the company has grown to offer a variety of SMS & premium services. Interlinked Media also developed and executed the mobile strategy for clients including the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign before being sold in July 2010.

Gavin has been involved with mobile payments and services since 2000, when he joined One2One to source content for their first WAP service. From 2000 to 2010 Gavin worked in various roles in the Wholesale team at T-Mobile, including Head of Third Party services. During this time he was part of the cross-operator team which launched the first version of industry payment guidelines, now known as Payforit. In 2011 Gavin co-founded Empello, which helps clients in the m-payments industry to develop sustainable revenues through competitive and compliant advertising and services.

Joanne Prowse was appointed as Acting Chief Executive of PhonepayPlus in May 2014 and sits on the PhonepayPlus Board.

Jo has been with PhonepayPlus since September 2010 as Director of Operations and IT overseeing consumer complaint handling, regulatory enforcement and business and IT infrastructure teams. As part of the PhonepayPlus leadership, she has embedded a new outcomes-based regulatory framework supported by the launch of the industry-wide Registration Scheme and has overseen the transformation of systems, processes and reporting to support consumer protection and drive up market compliance.

Prior to joining PhonepayPlus, Jo was with the Performing Right Society (PRS for Music) where she rose to Managing Director for Membership and Operations with previous appointments of Executive Director for Membership and Communications Director.

  Rory Maguire

Rory has worked in the mobile industry since 1993, creating the first shortcode text service with Orange Info to follow the pioneering voice shortcode information service, also on the same number -177. After creating strategic commercial relationships between Orange and Media companies to support their 3G Licence bid, Rory moved into mobile internet services arena with a start-up company, and then joined Three in 2002 as part of the launch team. Rory has worked in the network end of the mobile interactive services industry until he set up his own consultancy service company in 2013. Rory has been on the Board of AIME since 2006 and stepped in as interim Managing Director of AIME in September 2013.

  Toby Padgham

Toby has over 20 years’ experience working with companies in the interactive media and premium rate Industry. Having founded the Industry trade organisation AIME in 2007 Toby worked closely with mobile companies and media to drive numerous market growth initiatives and to ensure consistent Industry representation to regulators, government and Industry stakeholders. Under Toby's leadership AIME grew rapidly, securing membership of leading brands such as Vodafone, EE, ITV, BBC, Sony Entertainment and establishing itself as the UK's leading premium rate trade body. Prior to setting up AIME Toby founded the trade organisation NOC in 2000 and the International Telemedia Association in 1995. In 2000 Toby bought the events company World Telemedia Ltd from United News & Media, launching several products including the trade publication Telemedia Magazine in 2001 and a further event AOE in 2003 - eventually selling his interests in 2007. Toby remains an Exec Director of AIME and owns the consultancy business 49DS Ltd.

  Tony Pearce

Coming from a 20 year background in senior management in the entertainment and gaming industry Tony has an excellent track record as a successful entrepreneur and CEO.

Over the past 10 years Tony has raised over £15m in VC funding, started 4 companies and had 2 successful exits. Most recently Tony founded GamesGRABR an innovative platform (web, mobile and tablet) that marries the power and usability of a contemporary ‘pinboard-style’ UI with instant play and buy capabilities.

Previously Tony founded a games company called TeePee Games, a consumer portal that allows players to discover and play games across social networks and the web.

Tony was the CEO and Co-Founder of Player X and spearheaded the company from a four person start-up in 2004 and developed it into Europe's largest mobile games distributor. The company was named by Library House as the fourth fastest growing VC backed company in the UK before it was acquired by Spanish mobile content company ZED in April 2009.

Tony is also the co-founder of an executive networking event called the Centurions which is aimed at the digital entertainment industry and takes place every two months in London along with events in New York, Istanbul and Munich.

  Simon Wingrove

Simon Wingrove is Head of On-bill Payments at EE, responsible for driving both the Commercial and Operational performance of the On-bill Payment portfolio of services.

Simon has a strong pedigree in helping to start up and streamline the performance of new teams and revenue streams in the telecommunications industry, having worked with 3 and BT Mobile prior to his current role. Before that, Simon was a fixture in the financial services industry, including Merrill Lynch, RBS, and the Bank of New York.

Simon has been with EE (and formerly T-Mobile) for over eight years. He has a BA (Hons) in European Business Economics.

Prior to that he received a first class honours degree in Business Studies at University of Limerick, Ireland. Areas of expertise include: Mobile Payment Solutions, Mobile apps/Wireless messaging solutions into Network Operator, CRM/Digital Content solutions into the Retail sector and Mobile marketing campaigns for major brands. His clients have included Telefonica, Spar, MTN and Neomobile. Declan is Founder/Director of ETX (UK) Ltd, which runs GoVerifyit (on-line purchase verification tool) and Founder/Director of MCP Ltd, as well as various other companies.
